Jack's QHPS Graduation

Well, Jack spent 3 years at QHPS, and it was a wonderful experience for him! Unfortunately, I've been blogging for 3+ years, and I still can't remember to upload these photos in order:( Please bear with me as I tell this out-of-sequence story. Yea! 2011 grads!

Post-graduation lunch with Papa!

Officially graduated.

Dun-dundundun-Dun-Dun, Dun-dundundun-Dun-Dun....

(That's the graduation theme song, if for some reason you couldn't recognize it:))

Nanee and Sam cheer Jack on!

Each graduate had a flag made with his kindergarten.

Mom and Dad are so proud of you, Jack! We love how you made such good friends at preschool, and we love how excited you are for kindergarten. Congratulations!

Mom's Tea

Jack's class went on a field trip to a strawberry farm earlier in the week. Then, they made strawberry shortcake for their moms--yum! AND served it to us:)

He was so sweet! Their teachers must have really coached them well because they were on their best behavior!

Don't mind if I do!

A little presentation for the moms for Mother's Day.

Hey, Mom!

Class of 2024

Jack was invited to a kindergarten social for all incoming kindergarteners. He got to meet his classmates and some important Lower School people. The kids enjoyed lemonade and cookies, toured the kindergarten classrooms, and got their pictures taken with the school mascot. Their class picture taken in front of the Charlotte Christian "C," will be the same picture taken on their graduation day in May of 2024.

A Visit to Dr. Mus. (Moose)

Sammy--he looks so big all sprawled out like that!

Jack, chillaxin during his cleaning.

Our dentist's name is Dr. Mustafa Shah Khan. It' s a fun name to say, but the kids just call him Dr. Mus (Moose). This was Sam's first non-emergency dentist appointment, so we snapped some pics. During the appointment, Dr. Mus. came into the room with Sam and me and asked me if Jack had experienced any trauma recently to one of his front teeth. I quickly answered "no," but then amended that with "But, I was away all last weekend and Rick had the boys..." He raised a dripping wet x-ray and told me that Jack had a severed nerve, and most likely, he'll lose the tooth. I was a little shocked, and later I asked Rick about it. He was just as shocked. I almost didn't even believe it, until a week later it started to turn gray! A few days later, we ran into Dr. Mus. and his family at a local pizza place. I told him he was right--he wasn't as surprised as we were:)
